Church of St. Stephan
The Church of St. Stephen the First Martyr is located on the Sustipan peninsula in Split. It was built in 1814 on the site of a demolished Benedictine monastery of St. Stephen under the pines. During construction, spoils from the destroyed monastery were incorporated into its facade and the interior features six ancient marble columns moved from Diocletian's Palace.
