Bronze Gate
The Bronze Gate, also known as the Southern Gate, is the smaller of the four principal Roman gates into Split's old town. Built as part of Diocletian’s Palace, it was originally a sea gate used by the Emperor to enter the complex by boat. Today it serves as the main entry point from the promenade to the cathedral.
