Marjan is a hill located on the peninsula of Split, Croatia’s second largest city. It's characterized by dense Mediterranean pine forest and completely surrounded by the city and the sea, creating a unique landscape. Originally used as a park by citizens dating back to the 3rd century, it remains a popular weekend destination and recreational area for the city.
