Cross on Vidova gora
The Križ (cross) on Vidova gora was erected in 1998 as the highest point of Brač island and all Adriatic islands. The cross, dedicated to Christ the Redeemer, is made of Brač white marble and reaches a height of 12 meters including its base. Nearby are a viewpoint, konoba (tavern), television repeater, remnants of an Illyrian fortress, and the ruins of the Romanesque church of St. Vid from the 13th century.
