Hvar
Hvar is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea, situated off the Dalmatian coast between the islands of Brač, Vis and Korčula. Approximately 68 kilometres long, it features a prominent east-west ridge of Mesozoic limestone and dolomite. Notably for the region, Hvar possesses a large fertile coastal plain and freshwater springs.
