Host
Host is a small islet with a lighthouse located at the entrance to Vis Bay on Hvar island. The name derives from British officer Sir William Hoste, who defeated a larger French fleet under Vice-Admiral Dubourdieu in naval battle near the islet on March 13, 1811.
